Biography

American football player, a linebacker for the New England Patriots. McGinest was signed by the Patriots on 5/17/1994 after being selected as a first-round draft pick in the 1994 NFL draft. In 1996, his Patriots won the AFC championship and advanced to SuperBowl XXXI, where they lost.

On 6/23/1998, McGinest allegedly assaulted a woman at a Boston, MA nightclub. No charges were ever filed in the incident.
