American homicide victim, shot to death on 10/09/1993 by her son Jerry after quarrelling on Saturday afternoon about 2:30 PM.

Cheerful and good natured with a sense of humor, Merle had met Gerald Sr. while they were in high school and they married 11/19/1977. She was just 19 and he, 20. Gerry Jr. was born five months later, always a difficult kid. Melanie, sweet and well-behaved was born 7/01/1982.
