Biography

Irish-American writer whose main interest was science fiction. She was first published with "Freedom of the Race," October 1953 which was followed by "The Lady In the Tower," April 1959, plus other stories in the '60s. Prior to writing, she dabbled in theater, studied voice and produced and directed Carl Orff's "Ludus De Nato Infante Mirificus."

McCaffrey married; three kids.
