Biography
American minister and spiritualist reverend who was reputed to be clairvoyant, clairaudient and able to levitate on occasion. A black, he became interested when young in voodoo, ceremonial type magic and Christian witchcraft, eventually becoming a minister in the Universal Christ Church. His wife, Mamie, was also a spiritualist minister.
Mays died in 1978.
