Biography
French ecclesiastic, a Roman Catholic Cardinal; he was ordained a priest on February 15, 1948 and spent many years in a French parish. On May 23, 1971 he was ordained a Bishop. On February 17, 2000 he resigned his post as vicar of Apostolic of Iles Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. He died at age 77 on April 5, 2000.
