Biography
Canadian Prime Minister, from December 12, 2003. The businessman/lawyer turned politician, affiliated with the Liberal Party, was Minister of Finance from November 4, 1993 to June 1, 2002. In addition he was the Minister responsible for the Federal Office of Regional Development for Quebec from November 4, ,1993 until January 24, 1996.
He married Sheila Ann Cowan (born July 31, 1943 according to the Canadian Parliament website) on September 11, 1965 and they have three sons: Paul William born September 11, 1966), James Robert, born June 21, 1969, and David Patrick, born September 13, 1974).
