Biography
American ethnomusicologist who studies music from cross-cultural perspective, he is also a disc jockey under the name "Wayne & Wax." A scholar, he earned his Bachelor's from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from the Unviersity of Wisconsin with a thesis on the history of rap, hip-hop and reggae music.
