Biography
Mexican politician and financier who served as the President of Mexico from 1982-1988. One of the primary goals of his administration was to do something about the economic crisis that Mexico was experiencing at the time as a result of U.S. trade; he also aimed to eliminate corruption within the government, a formidable if not impossible goal.
