Biography
Dutch writer, noted from the time he first published in 1890. After spending his youth in England, he was educated in the U.K. and Utrecht University, studying for law. He passed the bar but soon decided that he would rather write; his books were published in Dutch.
Maartens died 8/04/1915, Zeist, Holland.
