Sy Scholfield quotes a transcription of the birth record in "Ein Kampf für das Recht der Musen: Leben und Werk von Karl Christian Müller alias Teut Ansolt (1900-1975)" by Torsten Mergen (V&R unipress, 2012): "wohnhaft bei ihm, zu Saarlouis in seiner Wohnung, am siebzehnten Januar des Jahres tausend neunhundert nachmittags um ein Uhr ein Knabe geboren worden sei und daß das Kind die Vornamen Karl Christian erhalten habe." [Translation: "born at one in the afternoon at his apartment in Saarlouis, on the seventeenth of January of the year nineteen hundred, a boy who received the name Karl Christian"].
