Swiss writer and author of autobiographical works.

In 1902 she was qualified as kindergarten teacher. In 1911 she gave birth to an illegitimate son, who grew up in foster care and also in an orphanage.

Livelihood Loos worked in various jobs such as waitress , shop assistant and secretary Although her debut Matka Boska quickly made her known, Loos lived all her life on the edge of poverty.

She was awarded the Price of Swiss Schiller Foundation on 1947 and 1952.

She died 21 January 1959.
