Biography
American homicide. He and his pal Nathan Leopold planned a "perfect crime" as a thrill. Both sons of wealthy and influential local families, they were regarded as brilliant students. On 5/21/1924, they sadistically killed a young boy. They were caught and sent to trial on 7/21/1924. He was sentenced to life in prison September 1924.
Leopold was paroled in 1960 after spending his lifetime in prison, from age 19 to 55; he died 8/29/1971. Loeb died after an attack by another inmate 1/28/1936.
