Biography
American statesman and politician, the Senator from Massachusetts from 1936-1944 and 1947-1953, Representative to the U.N. and Security Council from 1953-1960. He ran for Vice-President in 1960 with Richard Nixon. Lodge served as Ambassador to South Vietnam from 1964-1967 and Ambassador to West Germany from 1968-1969.
Died on 27 February 1985 Beverly, MA.
