Italian actor, winner of an award at the Venice Film Festival for the film "Light of My Eyes."
Director Marco Tullio Giordana made a film based on the life of Peppino Impastato, "The Hundred Steps," starring actor Luigi Lo Cascio, and it was nominated for an Oscar in 2002.
