Biography

German carpenter, wood carver and three-legged man. His left leg was perfect, except for six toes on the foot. His right leg had two separate knees with two separate limbs; Lippert walked with all three legs until he was age 16. At that time, he strapped the far right leg up until it atrophied.

He was one of six children and the only one born with any physical abnormality.
