Biography
American radio personality known as "Mikey Dee," this popular DJ/musician/promoter died on 7/6/2003 after a bout with pneumonia. He had been at a skilled nursing facility since suffering a stroke that left him paralyzed following heart surgery on February 7, 2000. Musicians staged a New Orleans-style funeral in his honor, marching in Boston, MA playing jazz and rock that he loved so well and promoted so enthusiastically.
