Biography
American homicide, he and his pal Richard Loeb planned the "perfect crime" for a thrill. Both sons of wealthy and influential local families, they were regarded as brilliant students. On 5/21/1924, they sadistically killed a young boy. Loeb and Leopold were caught and given life in prison. He was paroled in 1960 after spending his life behind bars, from the age of 19 to the age of 55.
Died of a heart attack on 8/29/1971.
