Biography
French editor and politician. The former Social Democratic Party Deputy and a leading figure in the German Resistance, he was a strong opponent of Hitler and National Socialism.
Leber was raised in a background of poverty and was decorated for bravery in WW I in the Army. He worked as an editor.
Imprisoned by the Nazis 1933-1937, he was condemned to death 10/20/1944 and hanged 1/05/1945.
