Biography
American film producer and founder of a company of players. Lasky was an adventurous youth, playing in vaudeville as a cornetist and then traveling to Alaska to hunt for a fortune. He formed his play company in 1914 and three years later merged with Adolph Zukor to form Paramount Pictures. Lasky died 1/13/1958 Beverly Hills, CA.
