Biography
Swiss Olympic athlete, an ice skater, he holds several titles including two world championships and nine Swiss National Championships as of 2010.
He won his first world championship in 2005 and another in 2006. He took home a silver medal in his specialty, figure skating at the 2006 Olympics. He has been known to choreograph his own routines.
An injury caused him to announce his retirement from competitive skating on October 16, 2008. In July 2009 he made the decision to make another attempt at the Olympics scheduled for 2010 but again announced his retirement on March 9, 2010.
