Biography
American ballerina, the youngest principal to ever dance with the Boston Ballet Company which she joined at age 17. In August 2004 she joined the Royal Ballet Company.
With long light blond hair and porcelain skin that give her an angelic appearance, she is the daughter of British parents who worked for a school system near Boston.She began dance lessons at age 4 and at age 6 successfully auditioned for the Boston Ballet Company School. By age 18, she had become a member of the corps de ballet of the main company, was promoted to soloist at 20. Two years later, she was made a principal dancer.
On May 21, 2005, she made her debut as Odette/Odile in The Royal Ballet’s “Swan Lake” at London’s Royal Opera House.
