Biography
Canadian film and television director, and noted family member, his older brother is director Gerald L'Ecuyer.
His first feature, "Curtis's Charm" won a special jury citation as Best Canadian Feature Film at the 1995 Toronto International Film Festival. At the same time his short film, "Use Once and Destroy" received a smilar award in its category. His 2007 movie, "In God's Country" provides a fictional account of the life of a woman who escapes her life in a Mormon polygamous community and rejoins society.
