Biography
American noted kidnapper. With his friend, Ruth E. Schier, Krist designed and built a coffin for kidnap victim Barbara Mackle. A daughter in a wealthy family, she was buried alive with a four day air supply 12/17/1968. Mackle was rescued and Krist was caught with the ransom money in the Florida swamps.
