Biography
British noted family, one of twin grandsons of Earl Mountbatten. His brother Nicholas was born 20 minutes earlier. The boys were victims of the IRA bombing on 8/27/1979 at Mullaghmore, Ireland (8 W.27, 54 N.28) which targeted their grandfather, the first Viceroy of India. Both Mountbatten and Nicholas were killed instantly while Timothy was blinded by the explosion.
