Biography
Welsh politician and leader of the Labour Party in Great Britain October 1983. Kinnock is a stubborn socialist on economic issues, a dove on nuclear issues and Margaret Thatcher's leading rival. Born to a disabled Welsh coal miner, he was poor through childhood and rose from the working classes. He has a beautiful and articulate wife, Glenys, who is a feminist and peace activist in her own right.
