Biography
Persian noted family, the daughter of Murshid Inayat Khan and an American mother. During WW II, as a WAAF she joined the French Resistance movement, entering a sabotage squad in 1939. Under the code name of "Madeleine," she parachuted into France. She was betrayed and captured and was executed by firing squad at Dachau on 9/14/1944.
Khan is the author of "Twenty Jataka Tales," a children's book.
