Biography
American writer and cartoonist who was the creator of the strip "Hazel." After receiving a B.A. from Berkeley, he became an associate editor of "Judge" magazine from 1937. His first "Hazel" was for the Saturday Evening Post in 1943 and his first of 16 cartoon books was released in 1946. During the '70s, he was noted for his screenplays, "Showdown at Ulcer Gulch," "Million Dollar Duck" and "The Cat from Outer Space."
Key married 9/30/1937 and they had three sons.
