Biography
American comedian, considered one of the greats of silent pictures for his physical humor and pantomime. His films include "The Cameraman," 1928 up to "When Comedy Was King," 1962. A film was made of his life in 1957. Keaton died of lung cancer on 2/01/1966.

Penfield Collection gives a spec time "based on his biography which states he was born between acts of his parent's medicine show." LMR can only find one biography, "My Wonderful World of Slapstick," by Keaton with C. Samuels, on which it states on p.20, "My birth in Pickway on October 4, 1895, was uneventful."
