Biography
American military, a career Navy man who rose to the ranks of Rear Admiral. The recipient of two Naval Cross Awards and two Navy Distinguished Service Medals, he became head of the US Naval Academy in 1965.
He married Margaret Cary Tuckerman on May 1, 1943.
He died August 18, 1979.
