Biography
American lawyer and politician, a US representative and member of the Democratic Party. He served in the Army during WWII from 1943 to 1946, earning his Lieutenant's rank.Upon his discharge he served as a branch director in the Philippines for the War Department. He was first elected to Congress in November 1958 and served for several consecutive terms until he lost his seat in the election of 1990. .
