Biography
American pro baseball pitcher, selected by the Detroit Tigers in second round of free-agent draft pick 6/07/1982. Kamieniecki (pronounced KAM-ah-NIK-ee) didn't sign with the Tigers, received his degree in physical education from Michigan State and was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 23rd round free-agent draft pick 6/03/1985. He signed with the N.Y. Yankees 6/02/1986 and played with them until signing with the Baltimore Orioles organization 1/22/1997.
He has been placed on the disabled list five times, rehabilitating in the AAA League. At 6' 0", 195 lbs, he throws right and bats right and has played in the Division Series game in 1995 and has pitched for eight innings in the Championship Series game in 1997.
