Biography

Swiss musician, music director of the Basel theatre, conductor of the Lausanne chamber orchestra and L'orchestre de la Suise Romande.

He died in Zurich, Switzerland on 20 September 2006, five days after collapsing while conducting Prokofiev's opera The Love for Three Oranges at the Basel opera house.
