Biography
American professional athlete of basketball and baseball. Selected by the Oakland A's in 1986 as a free agent baseball player, he then started playing basketball for the Phoenix Suns as a first round draft pick in 1987. After 12 seasons with the Suns, he retired in May 2000. In 2008 he waged a successful bid to become mayor of Sacramento, CA.
