Biography

British comedy actor on the TV series "Open All Hours" and "Only Fools and Horses." With great comic timing and gentle humor, Jason plays ordinary people with whom the public can relate. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement prize in October 1996 at the National Television Awards.

His actress-partner Myfanwy Talog (b. 3/31/1945) died on 3/11/1995 after a five-year illness. His biography was published in 1991, "The David Jason Story: A Perfect Life" by Stafford Hildred and Tim Ewbank.
