Biography
American homicide victim, strangled and stabbed to death on 12/28/1964 at her home in Garfield Heights, OH, age 16. At the time, she was home alone, on Christmas vacation from Marymount High School and getting ready to go out with a girlfriend. When her friend arrived, the radio was playing loudly and she thought she heard a thump upstairs. Police believe the sound was that of Beverly struggling with her attacker. The friend called Beverly's grandmother, who in turn informed the girl's dad, a machinist, who went home and found the nude body of his daughter. Police believed that the killer was someone Beverly knew and that she had let him in the house. Her death was estimated as between 1:20 and 1:37 PM.
