Biography
French obstetrician and researcher who described vaginal symptoms of early pregnancies. He is noted for discovering Jacquemier's sign; which is the blue or purplish coloring of the vaginal mucosa, a presumptive sign of pregnancy.
Jacquemier died in 1879.
