Biography
American musician and dancer, he played marimba and percussion specialty instruments and tap-danced his way into American homes on the long-running Lawrence Welk show. A versatile entertainer, he sang and danced his way into a show producer's slot.
He married his junior-high school sweetheart in November 1951. The couple has five children.
