Biography
American actor who was a leading man in low budget British films from the early 60s and who has done some U.S. movies as well. Some of his acting credits include "Destination Tokyo," 1944 and "Casanova's Big Night," 1954. He moved into the horror genre in the '70s, as well as turning his attention to screen writing and production. Some of the movies which he has written or produced include "The Slime People," 1963 "The Secret Door," 1964 and "Tales From the Crypt," 1971. He died on August 7, 1994 in Kingston, NY, age 74.
