Biography
American basketball Head Coach: led the Knicks to two NBA Championships, in 1970 and '72. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1985. Also, as a player, member of NBL championship team in 1946 and NBA championship team in 1951. NBA Coach of the Year in 1970. Died: Nov. 13, 1998
