Biography
Scottish ecclesiastic, the Most Rev. Richard Holloway, Anglican Bishop of Edinburgh. He is a member of the Labour Party, has advocated the legalization of drugs and prostitution and strongly supports the ordination of women priests. In 1997 he published "Dancing on the Edge," which challenges official Christian attitudes to sexual morality. Among his unconventional solutions he suggests that the church ought to affirm the relationship of co-habitees and gay couples, and ought to take a constructive approach to pedophilia, "a tragic condition."
