Biography

German Social Democrat and civil servant, he held various positions in the Prussian Service until dismissed in 1933. He joined the anti-Nazi Resistance where he took an active role until he was arrested and taken to prison on 7/20/1944. He was sentenced by the Nazi People's Court and hanged on 3/03/1945.
