Biography
American playwright, screen writer, novelist and producer, his work has been produced on American television for three decades beginning in the 1960s. His play, "Conversations in the Dark" was first produced in 1963. His books include "Blue Dreams" written in 1971, his first novel.
He married Shelley Post in 1956; their marriage ended in divorce five years later. In 1962 he married Pat Stanley and that marriage too ended in divorce in 1978. He is the father of one daughter.
