Biography
American film executive and co-founder, along with David Wolper, of Wolper Productions, Inc. in 1959. He was the executive producer of "Ripley's Believe It or Not," 1983, and he assembled "That's Entertainment." In 1984 he produced the Academy Awards for the first time, followed by the special "That's Dancing" in 1985. He won several Emmys for his work.
From 1974-1978 he was married to Liza Minnelli.
His father, actor Jack Haley, died on 6/6/1979. After a long illness, Haley Jr., 67, died early morning of 4/21/2001.
