American actor, a handsome young lead in his teens and a star in silent films, including "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." He was a gregarious and garrulous character actor in 150 later films, including "Robin Hood," "Dodge City" and "Destination Tokyo."

He died of pneumonia and cirrhosis of the liver on 1/22/1950, Los Angeles, CA.
