Biography
French writer. A former teacher of literature, he began writing in the late '40s. He grew increasingly successful in the '50s, with a series of seven novels, featuring a single hero, called "Le Naif" (The Naive Man), which gave Guth a vehicle in which to develop social satire.
Guth married on 4/06/1936. He died on 10/29/1997, Ville d'Avray, France.
