Biography
American athlete, a basketball star. Groza's career was erratic due to a scandal in 1951. After being a star and part owner of the Indianapolis Olympians, he was convicted of point shaving. He moved into other areas, running a tavern that was a family business and moving into sports broadcasting on TV and managing a basketball team. He died of cancer at age 68 on January 21, 1995 in San Diego, CA.
