Biography
American pro baseball pitcher who signed with the Atlanta Braves right out of high school, 6/03/1985. Due to injuries, Greene has been placed on the disabled list numerous times throughout his pitching career playing for the Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros and back to the Atlanta Braves1/23/1998.
Statistically, he has pitched a 2-0 no-hit victory against Montreal 5/23/1991, has appeared as a pinch-hitter in one game and a pinch-runner in another game. He pitched in the Championship Series games and the World Series games in 1993 and has been in the major leagues for eight years as of 1998. He throws right and bats right; 6' 5", 225 lbs.
