Biography
French jockey, winner of the Cravache d’Or in 1978 (116 wins). It is the biggest race in Europe, held at Longchamp in Paris. The world's fastest thoroughbreds compete in the 2,400 meter classic distance (approx. 1 1/2 miles) This internationally renowned sporting event is the most highly prized competition for fans of flat racing.
