Biography
Italian-American Mafia chief since 1957, known for being in the rackets and the business of murder. "Don Vitone" as he was called, reportedly directed operations from prison while serving a sentence of 15 years.
He was married; two kids. While an inmate at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, he was sent to the prison's Springfield, MO hospital where he suffered a fatal heart attack on February 14, 1969.
