Biography
American entrepreneur, a fabulously successful record executive, agent, film producer and founder of Asylum Records. At one time he was manager of Crosby, Stills and Nash, Cher, Joni Mitchel, The Eagles and more big names. He has made the list of Forbes 400 Wealthiest Americans.
Geffen had cancer of the bladder in 1976 and retired to teach commerce at Yale and UCLA. By 1980, tests confirmed his remission with no trace of cancer.
